SHNA Crime Meeting

If you've been following the chatter on Nextdoor lately, you know that there seems to have been a string of burglaries (residential and vehicle) in Sylvan Heights.

According to CrimeMapping.com, there have been four reported burglaries in November: 11/10 on Elkins, 11/19 on Sentinel, 11/20 on Nevada and 11/26 on 37th. There have been five vehicle breakins: 11/20 on Park, 11/21 on Elkins (x 2), 11/22 on Park and 11/22 on 37th. There have also been two motor vehicle thefts, both on 11/21, one on Park and one on Elkins.

Join your neighbors at a special SHNA meeting in the West Precinct community meeting room on December 8th at 7 pm. Sgt. Linn and other West Precinct police officers will address the recent crime activity in our neighborhood, provide crime prevention tips, and discuss Nextdoor postings and other resources available for our residents to utilize.
